My Work on Tropico:

At Gaming Minds, I’m leading the design and production of Tropico 7’s entire vehicle fleet—including land, sea, and air vehicles. While some models existed in early form, many required extensive rework due to technical or visual shortcomings. Others needed to be built entirely from the ground up.

Before taking over the vehicle fleet, I worked within our modular attachment system used for elements such as fences, pipes, and cables. I built several modular asset kits and ensured they were production-ready for both the internal team and outsourcing partners. If you spot cables, air ducts, or pipes on a building in Tropico 7, there's a good chance I had a hand in creating them.

My current work on the vehicle fleet includes:
- End-to-end creation of vehicles: modeling, UVs, texturing, LODs, and rigging
- Overhauling legacy assets from Tropico 6 with improved topology, shading, and updated textures
- Creation of vehicles with technical parameters in mind
- Creating modular color variations across the fleet
- Logo/Decal Design for textures when needed
- Self-sufficient asset development without concept art
- Close communication with Lead Artist, Art Director and Studio Leads
- Developing efficient workflows to streamline asset creation and ensure consistency across the fleet

Aside from my work on the vehicle fleet I also work on general asset creation for our asset library whenever help is needed.
Disclaimer:
Sadly I can’t publicly showcase what I’m working on at Gaming Minds, since the project is still in development. However, I’m able to show you some of my work on Tropico in a more private context!
